Rapidly delivering cyber warfighting capability from seabed to space

 

Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) is one of six major Department of Navy acquisition commands. While other Navy acquisition commands, like Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), focus on specific platforms, NAVWAR focuses on capable and secure communications and networks that span platforms and facilities.

Honor, Courage and Commitment: NAVWAR Recognizes 2024 Sailors of the Year for Going Above and Beyond

Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) honored its Fiscal Year 2024 junior and senior Sailors of the Year at a ceremony hosted at its headquarters in San Diego April 18. Chosen from a pool of candidates from NAVWAR headquarters, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, NIWC Pacific and NAVWAR Space Field Activity (NSFA), Yeoman (YN1) Deltric Robertson and Operations Specialist (OS2) April Baker, both from NIWC Pacific, were selected as senior and junior sailor of the year, respectively.

Project Overmatch Achieves Historic Milestone with Five Eyes Agreement

The U.S. Navy’s Project Overmatch has reached a major milestone in its mission to revolutionize naval warfare through advanced digital technology and allied cooperation. For the first time, Project Overmatch has established a formal Project Arrangement (PA) with the Five Eyes (FVEY) partners—Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This agreement underscores the Navy’s dedication to strengthening joint operations, advancing Distributed Maritime Operations (DMO), and enhancing global security through allied innovation.
